Talynn is a Los Angeles based conductor, music director, and orchestrator. Currently, she is the music director of LA Chamber Music Company, which seeks to provide audiences with exceptional chamber, orchestral, and collaborative arts concerts that inspire and promote sense of passion, community, and diversity.
Talynn is involved in multiple music projects. She was the assistant conductor for "The Future is Female" concert, produced by composer Tori Letzler, that took place September 4th, 2018 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. In May 2018, she orchestrated and conducted a portion of the book soundtrack, Green Rider, composed by Kristina A. Bishoff, at HUGESound Recording Studios. While working at the studio, she also received the opportunity to conduct on a project for composer Chance Thomas. In December of 2017, her string ensemble group, Harmony Chamber Orchestra, held a benefit concert where the event raised over $14,000 for Syrian and Iraqi Armenian refugees.
Additionally, Talynn is one of the conductors for the CSUN (Cal State Northridge) Gamer Symphony Orchestra, has worked as assistant to Maestro Emmanuel Fratianni, principal conductor of the Video Games Live! concert series, and is regularly invited to UCLA Extension as a guest lecturer to teach conducting to film composition students.
Talynn holds a MM in orchestral conducting from California State University, Northridge, and a BA in piano performance from Loyola Marymount University.
